  • This is AWESOME!!

  • awesome I love to recycle :)

  • This vid inspired me to make my own paper bag journal. I've been using it for a while and love it!

  • Cool way to recycle/upcycle, love the idea of using plastic bag for binding. Your daughter done a great job too :)

  • Oh, now you are one COOL Dad!!! I LOVE this video, and that your son was a part of it with you!!!! Of course I also thought the journal was great, and I was especially impressed with the braided plastic bag binding!!! I'm always glad to know a new way to recycle things! Love your journal! Well done, Father and Son!!!! ~tina

  • Well what an AWSOME DAD!!! and such a cute kiddlet! Not many men out there who will do these kinds of things! your a rare find!. Keep up with the awsome ideas!

  • All my dad does is drink beer, and yell. *PART OF THE REASON WHY I DON'T TALK TO HIM* ahaha

  • What a terrific idea! Thanks so much for sharing this. For visual journalists I don't suppose the print on the brown paper matters much, as it can be painted or pasted over. I know what your friends means by not wanting to mess up a pristine "gift shop" type journal. I've never liked those either, except to admire from a distance.

  • "Is this difficult, Dad?" I love this video and I love this family!! Thanks for sharing such a cute idea! I am linking your video to Junk King Fairfax on Facebook to increase their recycling bang -- not to mention their good, old-fashioned family values!! :-)

  • :O so cool!!! you're such a good dad ^_^
