The moment of truth arrives. Kevin Caron has been working on a steel fountain for several weeks. Now it's time to see how it runs. Watch as he turns on the pump, and lets the water fountain flow. Kevin also talks about what will happen to the water feature next ....

  • Wow, what a beautiful fountain Kevin. Now I want to build a fountain ! What type of powder coating (color) are you going to have applied to it. Is that the best method to keep it from rusting?

    Thanks for posting....

  • @floridarobot We are talking with the powder-coat guys today. Looking at the zinc undercoat with an epoxy paint. I will post up the finished work when it comes back.

  • @kevincaron We just started watching your videos... and I see that this one is at least 6 months old now... so where is the video and/or pictures of the finished product? Also... what does a piece like that sell for? Very nicely done by the way. (My girlfriend found your site... she was looking for info in sandblasting aluminum... she got hooked and bought a HUGE system. (Just installed the air compressor... 60 gallon tank.)

  • @askjerry Please tell your girlfriend I said thank you for finding me.

You can see the finished photo of that fountain on my website. Look for "duality". It is in the fountains and water sculpture section.

As for the price, this one sold for a little less then $5000.00. That includes shipping and powder coating

You can find contact information on my site. Just type in my name and I am right there at the top. .

  • Kevin,Wow..your work is stunning!!Every piece you build is more amazeing .ps your fountain has been dripping on my computer...thanks again..

  • @broncobill67 Dang it!! I thought that drip was fixed! Sorry, the paper towels are over there..

Thanks for posting, glad you liked it. You want one of your own???

  • @VisorBlue Must be an old guy thing. I get that way also. Like working on them, just hard to get anything done.

  • This is cool! I love fountains, especially yours, and could listen to the water running, pouring, ad even gently dripping all day. Well done!

Now I have to go pee. :-)

  • @Sasquatch7foot Wondered when you would show up! If I could figure a way to get the travel money I would do the install myself. Just can't get the client to pay for the round trip at 18 miles per gallon.

As for seeing the finished piece... Who you talking to here..... Of course all my buddies get to see it done. I will post up a finish video and photos as soon as it comes back from the powdercoater.

  • Boy that would be an excuse for a road trip to go and set up this piece.... But not Kevin, he chooses just to send it off with a video...... Thought I taught you better than that Kevin..... Just couldn't resist the razz..... Do we get to see the finished piece???
