@FlynHyer I wish I could but I cannot upload anything that shows the airline's operating procedures or ATC communications. I could upload random ATC and aircraft sound but that would be a shame, wouldn't it?

I'm just back from one of the most difficult approach I've flown so far. Thunderstorms all around, St Elmo fire (google it if you want to see what it's like, electric arcs across the windshield), hail and heavy rain, I flew the approach manually and made a smooth landing despite the strong crosswind. Believe me, there is nothing more rewarding than to fly a nice approach in those conditions, this is just an awesome feeling and it made my day! I hope you guys will get to experience this someday!

People have tried to demotivate me, ruin my dreams and have kept telling me I would never make it. Some have told me to "get real" and look for another job.

I'm cruising at 40,000ft three or four times a week, getting paid to fly a 70 tonne aircraft, watching sunrise over snow-covered mountains with a truly magical golden shape. Does it get any better? Probably not.

Meanwhile, those who gave me these clever tips are stuck in trafic jams on their way to some boring job.

@tomtom5418 Exactly. If the only problem was something like a low salary then fine, that's no problem. But having zero job security and on top of that being treated like something not human (I've heard horror stories) ...

So after having paid 70-80k€ for training you are supposed to pay even more for TR and stuff. And in a worst case scenario you have to pay to work. Come on.. But that is what you get when an airfare ticket is cheaper then both bus and train. Someone got to pay.

@golfcharlie232 I'd be happy with just the inflight sounds. You can censor out anything with the airline's name in it or something.

@TheShadowPX This is my point of view as well. Yeah it's a cool job, but is the financial turmoil and almost no job security worth it? Some say yes, some no. I know many of my CFI friends who finally got hired by a regional only to be furloughed 4 months later. I just don't know if dropping almost 100k on training is worth all of that.
