Minor correction - you definitely can and do get differing degrees of audio quality in low signal strength areas. Tetra uses frame stealing technology, where in areas of poor coverage where data packets are lost the system will copy an adjoining frame and insert it in the missing slot. Sounds very metallic when this happens. Then again Tetra uses a crap vocoder compared to P25 etc.
But I agree this video is a fake, most definitely an analogue radio being tested.

ahahahahah esta boa pa! tenho 1 walkie talkie que atinge 3Km em espaço aberto, porque se tiver obstáculos, atinge 100metros e já é muito... :D

something wrong here, he dont have digital radios, digital sets dont sound that bad and dont use that type of beep at the end.
digital audio is all or nothing theres no difference in quality if your 1 mile or 1 meter.
analoge is better in some respects, but digital you can send data and audio and if using TDMA and you have the bandwidth you can hold many audio and data on 1 channal without interferance.
this video is a fake, i use digital radios, i know what they do and how they work

All i can hear is some one talking on a set off 446 radios, with the distinctive Motorola "roger bleep". If any digital radio was suffering from low signal strength, the data packets would'nt get through, and there would only be silence.
With digital, it either works really clearly or not at all.
I think analogue is better due to a much less complex system as the digital radio system and there is much less to go wrong and fail, great vid
