WebPlus X4 - Database merge / repeating areas

In this tutorial I show you how to do a database merge to create a webpage with a list of data based on a dataset from an external data source, such as a database, or Excel spreadsheet.

Don't forget that everytime you update the datasource to redo the merge.

What happens if your database has over 700 records, a parts list for instance.

I followed the instructions on the video, but when merging to site it comes up with my home page and will not merge to the page I added the information to, any Idea's would be helpful.

I would be interested if you could make a video on how to set your website up so that it writes data to your database ie register details etc

WPx4 doesn't have the ability to wrote data straight to a database in the manner that you are asking. It only has a very simple merge facilty.

@MrQman1997 Not quite sure what you mean, all the text within the repeating areas should be included in search results.

Hi, this tutorial is great. Is it possible to dynamically merge the info, so that for instance, if I just update the price of the cars on the excel file, the prices will be updated on the webpages that uses this info ? Thanks!
