January 19: Stepping out of the horns studio sessions and crashed Elvina's Bar unannounced for a little funk jam to keep us in the right mood. LK horns: Michael Hunter & Harrold Todd. Special guest Trombone Shorty in the house. Guitar: Craig Ross. Bass: Tony Breit. This is Herbie Hanckock's "Chameleon." Sorry we had to edit about 40 minutes out for later usage. Lenny's the type of cat that would play music ANYWHERE. He doesn't care about his status as a rock star and he would jam with ANYBODY. If Lenny was in the Men's room and heard good music coming from one of the stalls he'd check it out and probably join in!

Awesome, I didn't know lenny could play the drums!! Anyway it' the real thing, playin in a local bar. Lenny's still got his primary musician spirit and soul, I like that
