i just bought one today but i dont have a power supply yet and the 8 c-sized batteries last about 3 hours.

Would it be possible to mount an SLR camera to this telescope or the 8" for imaging? Without using the low res on-board camera?
Can this telescope be positioned in a polar wedge and still be able to self align and track?

Currently there is no wedge option for the LT or LS telescopes. There are adapters for some cameras for both models. If you are looking for a telescope that can be used in equatorial mode, the LX90 has an optional wedge available, as well as camera adapters.
