@SunZen I'm hardly the only one. I was paraphrasing one atheist I know who once said "Read the damn book! And stop calling yourself a Christian until you do." There's no faster path to atheism (or some other freethought brand).

Yep, I grew up memorizing the bible... read the whole book 2-3 times by 15. When I grew out of my dependence stage I soon relized that this religion does not make sense at all. I'm a deist. But I believe in Jesus as a role model.

To DeistPaladin. You have to understand that alot of people are scared, or black mailed into christianity.

Good video. I’m one of those former evangelical Christians who read the entire Bible, studied apologetics, and figured out that our doctrines didn’t make sense. The clincher for me was the Calvinism v. Arminianism debate. After 500 years, avid Biblicists can’t settle the basic question of who Jesus died to save. If the Bible can’t answer that for believers, then why should skeptics trust it for any doctrine?
