@tideoftime LOL! You are funny, nothing was toned down.The Bigfoot costume was the same all 3 times and it was 2 different actors. Andre the Giant the first time and Ted Cassidy on the ones that followed.

@colorina1980 Yeah: the first Bigfoot ("The Secret of Bigfoot [Pass] -- the title depended on what region you were in) was played by Andre the Giant, and the make-up was scarier; when they had him return, the decision was made to tone it down a little, as they wanted Bigfoot to be a little less scary so as to be a touch more palatable for children. Either way, though, I still had a few nightmares about it when I was really little! But I would cry if my parents wouldn't let me watch! ;)
