Micky Flannigan humour comes from a very different place. The punchline to Boyles jokes are the fact that they are offensive. Flanningans jokes however have a much more end of the pier "look at those stupid foreigners" feel.
It's not particularly offensive, it's just not funny, quite crass, and slightly stupid. He shouldn't be on TV, not because of his non-PC outlook, but because of his lack of talent.

I'm not offended by what he said, nor am I saying anything potentially offensive shouldn't be on TV. Franky Boyle for example is much more offensive (and much funnier) than Micky Flannigan ever is. The difference is Franky Boyle clearly has no malice behind his jokes, he doesn't believe in anything he says, they are just jokes.

@ringosis Really? This is kind of pathetic. I'm ginger, I get ten barrels ripped out of me for being ginger. I laugh at myself for being ginger. I don't complain about it.There is a World of difference between allowing gender roles or race to impact on a persons life or career and clearly sarcastic satirical statements said in jest. We're English, we're supposed to keep calm and carry on. Yet a small percentage of the population seem to cry every time someone calls them nasty name.Suck it up ffs
