  • Easily one of the tightest rhythms, best productions, best lyrics, best vocalized, and saddest songs ever written, sang, and placed on wax. Ever. Nuff said.

  • Caught this on a compilation that I was listening to whilst travelling on a bus in London going to work....70's and 80's soul is in my blood but this track previously passed me by and all I could think was to let the other passengers on the bus have a listen so they too could appreciate such beautiful music....

  • @prap2169 Damn right you are!!

  • Man, there is nothing like ole school music, it smooth and timeless

  • takes me back to high school......80/81

  • @saalakhanREBORN Bamboo and Pink Champales! Word up!! This was my JAM and I'm glad somebody finally posted it!

  • Gorgeous classic that just makes you snap your fingers and drift back to the days of grown folks playing spades with bambu and pink champale on the kitchen table. So you trey songs looking tight jean wearing punks hush while GROWN folks is singing.

  • serio

  • I Love Old School.

  • @prap2169 right on btotha. A lot of the rappers sampled old classics because they didnt have the ways & the means to play an instrument. You cant always rap over *the boom bap the boom bap*, u got ta have alittle muscianship in your work, so sampling was just a cheap ad quick way to get those chords on yo track w/out hiring session players. Back then it was economics that forged the sampling gme. Now these rappers can hire a band. *It's no longer politics as usual* snick snick*
