In the last game at the old Boshamer Stadium, the North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team defeated South Carolina 9-4 to advance to the 2007 College World Series. This video is a compilation of clips and my photos from the game. Go Heels!

The Tarheels deserve the new stadium through all their hard work, and I'm glad they're getting it. But it's so fitting that they could beat South Carolina in their last game at the Bosh to advance to the CWS. It was great to see Flack hit that HR to go ahead 6-4 because he was there in 2004 when SC knocked us out of the NCAA for the 3rd time. Hearing "Lose Yourself" in that standing still gives goosebumps. I hope the kids there now know how lucky they are to put on the uni and play for Coach Fox

I remember watching this on espn, living 5 miles from the stadium, knew something big was going to happen. gives me chills. :]

I'm a freshman at UNC staying at Ehringhaus Residence Hall (the dorm behind left field), so I've watched the "new" Ehringhaus come to life over the past six months or so. It is beautiful, you won't be disappointed when you see it. Season starts tomorrow against VMI! Go Tar Heels!

that was a very enjoyable series. as a gamecock fan, it sure was frustrating to watch. All of UNCs runs except for two i think (in all three games) were scored with two outs. simply unbelievable. hopefully the heels and cocks wont have to continually meet in the supers- both teams deserve to be in the CWS most every year.
