  • @losangelesbassist right. as i'm sure you know, john has played with basically everybody on the jazz scene today. but he's a lame white boy, so whatever, right?! i looked at your profile, and it's pretty unprofessional that a pro musician such as yourself would be shit talking on youtube. you're probably jealous because john spent all his time practicing and now you're too old to get as good as him. happy youtubing!

  • awesome Francis Rocco! i didn't know of him! Very precursor of Jaco! great!

  • @losangelesbassist that same lame white boy is among the most on-call bass players in NYC and all over the states (and world). He's pretty cool for a lame white boy as well, and your heart would be skipping a beat if you took lessons with him. But youtubers have doctorates in writing asinine comments on these videos. Hip your ears to Patitucci's playing and the rest of your rhythm section will forgive you for your ignorance.

  • God Dave sounded good back then.

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooollll

  • That's some REAL WHITE BOY shit. unlike FRP. But we already knew that. Lame.

  • Yes. He's a mess in a few spots.

  • DId anyone else notice John was off time on a few different measures?

  • Rocco: muted; Jaco: open.

  • Yes! An homage to Rocco!!
