This is one of my favorite Cass and Frankie scenes of all time.
Frankie is at home after leaving the ball, trying unsuccessfully to meditate because she can't be noble about Cass. She throws a throw pillow at the door and damns Cass, and then Cass comes knocking at the door and wants her to let him in. He makes rude and obnoxious remarks at the top of his lungs ("Come on, chicky baby! Hey, do to me what you did last night!") and continues pounding on the door until she finally lets him in. Then they end up arguing, and Frankie hits Cass with the throw pillow, because she's mad at him about Cecile (and rightfully so). Cass fumbles his way through an attempt at explaining that he was trying to make something happen with Cecile because he didn't want something to happen with Frankie, but the words come out all wrong. Frankie learns that Cecile left town with Cass's wallet, but not with his heart. Frankie ridicules Cass for behaving the way he's been behaving because he has been wounded by love and then yells at him to get out, but he tells her he can't do that, because that would mean he'd have to leave her and he doesn't want to do that, and when Frankie asks him why not, Cass replies that maybe he's finally realized how much Frankie means to him. He asks Frankie if she's going to listen to him or not. In reply, Frankie asks Cass why she should listen to him after he went to bed with Cecile. That is what happened, isn't it?
