  • @GarIicjr Political correctness is a sham. It's just a way to control what you think and say. Screw political correctness. Equal rights is also a sham. There is no equality here. men are now treated like dirt, while women are treated like gold and can do no wrong. Ever been through divorce court? I have. Do you watch tv? Checl out the commercials. Look closely at how men and women are protrayed in those commercials. Equal rights my ass.

  • @buisyman We shouldn't over look how far advanced this country is either when it comes to political correctness and equal rights, even women in the u.k. say they don't have the kind of rights and liberties as american women have...people try to put down america every chance they get but, when you look at just the facts about every other place in the world america is and will for a long time be the greatest place in the world for a person to live and start a family.

  • @GarIicjr Here's what nobody's talking about, because it's far too big for them to understand. Yes, there is 14+trillion in debt that we owe. But, what they're NOT talking about are our national assets, which keeps countries loaning to us. First off is the GDP, the gross domestic product, balanced by the Net Domestic Product. Plus other assets we hold. Don't ask me, I don't understand much of it either. It's kind of like borrowing money to buy a house. You have to prove you can afford it.

  • I've got a question for Chris: Why didn't Obama send aid to victims of the Texas wildfire when asked?

  • we have so many assets this whole thing really is a joke to keep people entertained...america is fine and safe...this country will be here for the next one thousand years...no anarchy...no doller crash...this country is the apple of every ones eye. they say we are in debt...but who is gonna take our house if we dont pay?...no one. not the chinies...not the russians..no one...and if it comes down to it...we can just sell hawaii ...id say its worth 14 trillion.

  • @itachi705 You make my point - Fully programmed didiot.... You are just the kind of dipshit the right needs. Another chicken rooting for Colonel Sanders. Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a kid?

  • @TimeWarp66 Also, I'd like to make the point that you clearly do not know what socialism is, meaning it is very obvious that you have not actually taken the time to learn/read about it. Now, I'm not arguing for socialism, but I am arguing that you don't know what you are talking about. If you did you'd be able to explain why/how socialism is Marx's criticism of the Young Hegelians and in what way it relates to the conditions (social/philosophical) in 19th century Germany. Come on, lets hear it.

  • @TimeWarp66 I've shown by actual data that Sweden would not be the poorest US state. Just look at Sweden's GDP (354 billion) and the lowest US State's GDP (Missippi 24.51 billion). Also, I challenge your concept of "standard of living." Why should health, life expectancy, and crime not be considered things that effect the quality of life? Would you not agree that one who lives in the ghetto has a lower standard of living than one who lives not in the ghetto? The answer seems obvious.

  • @meursaultk

    Fun facts about Sweden:

    1) They privatized social security

    2) They have NO death tax

What I mean by standard of living is the amount of wealth accumulated by the average individual. Purchasing power, financial security, innovation. New technologies. Cell phones, Ipods, computers, are not invented by socialist countries.

google: "If Sweden were a US State, it would be the poorest state in the union"

    Click on the first link.

  • @TimeWarp66 You are wrong about Sweden being the poorest US state. CIA World Fact Book puts Sweden's GDP purchasing power at $354 billion in 2010, this would put Sweden at the 14th largest US State economy for 2010, according to Wikipedia's "List of US states by GDP" article.

Also, you need to define you mean by"standard of living." Does it mean highest life expectancy? Lowest disease rates? Which diseases? Least amount of murders per capita? Lets get specific and see if your argument holds up.
