Revised Central ITV Logo

Following suggestions a slightly darker central logo. Which do you prefer?

True, and its been downhill ever since. I emailed ITV about bringing back the Central logo for the local news as its still called Central news. I was quite suprised at the response. There has been talk for some time about bringing back the local region idents for just the local news, so I have been asked to watch this space.

I think was a bad business move to have small broadcasting business networking the UK because we are just not big enough and with the 50's Government doing damage to the network in the name of quality which lower the ratings. Because the Government did not understand people wonted that US type TV in a UK way. Small TV stations did not have a fair chance. I glad that Labour have changed that old fashion view and that ITV is made up of 2 big stations now rather then lots of little ones

Hang on! Where is the East Midlands in this ident?!?

Can we have Nottingham Castle, the Derbyshire Peaks and Sherwood Forest in there too please? The East Mids are part of the Central region too :-)

Considering that one of the bods in for the job of ITV chairman has lambasted ITV's stripping away regionality it's not much of a surprise in that context. Still unlikely (alas), however.

I reckon Carlton ought to take the hint and bring back the Central logo, its amazing how many people want it back.

Cool how dya make movin effects on vids? I think ITV should bring back the Regional Idents for good!! They dont call it Independent Television for no reason. GR8 VID!! Av u made a Granada or LWT ident yet?
