Sounds like someone searching for someone precious to them on a dark cold winter's night. That's what I envisioned when I first heard this.
Keep up the magnificent work! U've great talent, dont let it go to waste mate :)

Can't wait until I get that VST, let's hope it works, and sounds decent.
Nice, it really picks up splendidly during after 1:00.
Yes an excellent flow of steam of harmonics. Have you planned on making orchestrated pieces? I am sure this would flow nicely with a string enhancement, and maybe bells and a triangle.

Amazing work. I hope to hear more in the future.

I noticed the motif at the end, but I figured that since it's pretty much at the very end, and 3 whole minutes had passed in the piece, that it pretty much "doesn't count" as one :P But the way you did it was way cool regardless.

i like the general style of it!
it has some really nice parts and im impressed by the complexity of the overall structure
no visible loop!
im just feeling unwell about the volume differences, they feel a little too often and kinda random
but overall~ wow
very classique and impressive!
thanks for the experience!

Haha indeed my fren, wish it was different but the thick of things is just starting =( Unfortch I don't have facebook but I promise I will try to come online more often considering well the exam just aint going to end until Sept ... sweat
What magical harmonic progressions! 1:00 - 1:20 gave me chills. The melody is also very captivating!
The lack of musical motif really fits the "melancholy" feeling: there's no comfort to take from anything "familiar". But the careful articulations you put in the playback and the attention to detail convey the passion. Apt name :) I wish I could name my pieces as well as you do, but I have a bad way with prose.
Very wonderful work, John, yet again I'm impressed! :D

Thanks a lot, Zach!!! In fact, the musical motif is actually existent, but I used a relatively unconventional structure with this composition. Similar to Awaiting Discover, I had the first chorus early in the song, and the second chorus towards the end. It's sort of "symmetrical", I suppose.
Naaaah, you're fine at naming your compositions! I just got lucky with naming this one. XD I'm glad you like it, Zachy Wachy! :D

Gosh you really are talented! As I said before you have a way with conveying great emotion in your music it really is a delight to listen to :)
I adore the name you have this one "Passionate Melancholy " what a paradox
Keep up the good work, also might i recommend putting these up for download somewhere or maybe try the max route and make a cd of sorts, your music is that awesome! I am sure you could get some ppl from the comments including myself to help you out with that.
Great Job!

Aww, thank you! Well, you have a great way of conveying awesomeness! ^_^ As for the name, it came out of nowhere, and was fitting, so I was like :O!!! and pounced at the opportunity. :P Glad it is alright! :)
As for downloading, I'll look into how to get them up for download. I've tried certain sites, but I always seem to run into bad luck/complications, so I gave up. :P I'll look into it again, though. :)
