I think I like this take better than the one they put on the album... But that's just me :)

I don't know the history of this, but I like it. Freddy was always messing around in the studio so it's hard to say when this was made.

There's conflicting reports of when this was recorded, I've heard some say it was an early take before they got the one that they liked and ended up using for the album, and some say that it's a retake from 1975. The latter seems to fit, as it sounds more like the way they performed it live around the mid 70s. Hm, anyone got any knowledge in this?

better than the original :) the chorus harmony sounds a lot nicer and i like the back and forth thing between roger and brian in the bridge

2:42 For Brian May that riff is the best part of the song !!!!

The drums sound so much better on this version than the original.

@xxkadieexx yah that seems more like what he would say

@HippieChick1776 @munkykayse Isn't it "No, I just think I'm two steps nearer to my grave"? That's what I've always heard, on both versions.

@munkykayse i think he said "do you think you're better everyday? i think i was just peering into my grave..." is that the part u were wondering about? maybe we will never know...

I miss those days.........
