I have many liberal Democrats in my family. This is what they are.

Rush Limbaugh's comments about 'liberals' actually describe the conservatives. They are the ones that are chronically unhappy & vie for a return to a glorified past. (In fact they have more in common with the radical Islamists!). Anarchists have a new world 'within our hearts'-(to quote Buenaventura Durrutti). We look and struggle towards a better alternative future. We understand human frailties & seek to ensure that there are proper checks & balances for a more democratic fairer society.

"Deemed evil?" One only has to look at the consequences of decisions made by these large corporations. The dogmatic pursuit for profits regardless of the human and environmental costs is evil. As for being 'socially-minded' no these undemocratic structures are purely self-serving.

@avatar3083 I think the claim of "useful idiots" is right on the mark. Yes, even anarchists are "useful idiots" (but I prefer to leave off the "useful" part). Your claim of the altruistic goals of anarchists is not proven by world events. They focus mainly on easy targets - namely, large corporations they deem "evil" (and you need ONLY to be a large corporation for that title, no matter how socially-minded they are) and the US (the "white man curse" of all that ails the world today).

The enemy of my enemy is NOT necessarily my friend. Anarchists are for freedom from all totalitarian hierarchies.Whether these be of the 'left' or 'right' or of the Corporate West or Islamic-Fascism.Let us not forget that the real reason for the on-going wars by the Big-Oil Corporations aka/United States govt in Iraq & Afghanistan is for control of oil. Also it's to further the interests of the arms industry. The military-industrial complex. We are not 'useful idiots!'
