Model Adrienne Nicole Martin Found Dead at Home of August Busch IV Ex-CEO
Police are investigating the death of 27-year-old Adrienne Nicole Martin, who was found dead at the Huntliegh, Missouri home of August Busch IV, former CEO of Anheuser-Busch. Though Adrienne Nicole Martin's death is reportedly being investigated as as a drug overdose, toxicology tests will not be finalized for four to six weeks.

A lawyer for August Busch IV said that Busch was home at the time the 911 call was made.

"Mr. Margulis said Mr. Busch, 46 years old, was at the residence at the time of the 911 call and described Ms. Martin as a friend of the former beer executive. He said there were multiple people there at the time and he isn't sure who made the 911 call."

"Adrienne N. Martin of St. Charles was pronounced dead at 1:26 p.m. Sunday, according to the St. Louis County medical examiner's office. Martin and Busch had been dating for the last several months, friends said."

This is the second time that August Busch IV was tied to the death of a young woman. In 1984, he left a Tuscon, Arizona bar with a 22-year-old woman, later crashing his Corvette. The woman, Michele Frederick, was killed. Busch was found at his home hours later, denying having any memory of the crash.

The investigation took seven months, after which authorities declined to press criminal charges, saying there wasn't adequate evidence to do so. They said the investigation took so long because of the "high profile" of the Busch family and because family lawyers had fought the taking of hair and fiber samples from Busch.
