@PCMaster1ful Yes. They removed this old boot screen in the slim then in Playstation 3 Firmware 3.00.

@ThisIsWonga1 @need4speed209 You never know... there are many hidden reports on how to run new games on old firmware. Also, if a PS3 was like a PSP, it would be so easy to get PSN access via CFW plugins. And you would probably also be be able to get the old boot again though CFW plugins.
