  • this was one of my oldest videogame memories; I was half convinced I imagined it. Showbiz Pizza, I couldn't have been much older than 5, if I wasn't younger. God I miss my childhood.

  • This game was at Timezone in Perth in the mid eighties and I spent a lot of money during tech college breaks, they later got one that was an airline landing simulator which wasn't half bad either.

  • God in heaven, I thought this game was so cool back in the day!

  • The video shown is off the laser disk only but he game also superimposes computer generated graphics on top of the video from the disk the game was quite advanced for its time but was basicly an on rails shooter with moments the player was given a choise to fly up high or along the ground still a very fun game but all laser disk games had reliability issues that made them a pain to mantain

  • @ClessxAlghazanth It is what is known as a LASER DISC game. They were popular, WAY AHEAD OF THEIR TIME, games from the 1980s. Games included this one, DRAGON'S LAIR, SPACE ACE, and my favorite "COBRA COMMAND."

They had incredible graphics, but not the kind of control of other games.

  • what kind of game is this

  • You know, I have this cabinet in my garage. It needs a repair, but this vid really makes me want to get that thing working again.

  • It's funny. . .I didn't completely understand laser disc back then and I wondered why the jet wasn't exactly responding to the way I was piloting it. . .

I love this for the nostalgia, but I much preferred MACH 3 and the later after burner (which blew my mind away). . .

  • The Firefox Arcade game brings back lots of cool childhood memories!

I remember when the local Arcade first got this game along with M.A.C.H. 3

I spent my entire $10.00 allowance on those games with in an hour at $1.00 a piece! LOL

I have a MAME arcade cabinet and I was able to emulate Firefox and M.A.C.H. 3

It was a bit of a challenge to get them to work in MAME but it was worth the effort!

  • this game was cutting edge graphics back in the eighties I remember wishing my zx spectrum could run it. lol

  • Thank the game gods that the games go better
