POCKY Chocolate is made in 1966 by Glico, Japanese company.
South Korean company Rotte copied and changing name as Pepero in 1983.
However, Koreans are claiming against Japanese, Korean invented it and Japanese copied.

Koreans copy not only the Japanese stuff.KicKer chocolate bars. Its a copy from well-known KitKat from Nestlé company, one of the largest company in the world.I am so impressed that they courageously copy the stuff not only from Japan the nation they hate, but from other nation's company without fear of being sued.Perhaps, its their "uriginal"(Korean origin)formula or something. But mainly they copy from Japan,as they do not feel any guilt to steal things from Japan because Japan did bad to them.

I think copying is the process of backward nation to become developed nation.
I don't understand why Koreans still flat copy other products and never recognize it is a crime.
Apple sued Samsung and then Samsung counter sued Apple.
People all know Galaxy is copy of iPhone.
Why do Koreans upset when they were pointed out "facts"?

I appreciate you becoz I can feel how you love Japan. Thanks! and God Bless you too!
My daughter introduced me to Pockys by my daughter who had traveled to Japan. I buy it locally at Tom Thumb and when we go to the oriental grocer at George Bush and Denton Drive. My serving size appears to be an entire package.
I'm with you on the Dove Dark.....tough to beat...even on the ice cream bar.
It's not all bad that they are stuck together, you can say you just had one.
