http://ThisIsTheWorldWeLiveIn.com We joined our new friends Reese and Keiko, English teachers in Southern Thailand, for a few days of volunteering with the kids at their school. We didn't know what we were in for; groups of 30 students filled the yard and classroom, using us as human playgrounds and instant bestfriends. Despite the fact that we only knew a few words of the same language, we were able to connect around the same things that all kids enjoy everywhere in the world - song, dance, art and game. In just the brief time that the girls have been there, you can already see the impact their presence has had on these students life (ages ranging from pre-k to 5th grade). With each day, their English improves as their friendship with the "farangos" grow stronger. These are the types of relationships that have an effect on everyone's lives involved, and these kids won't forget the spring they spent with the girls from the USA. Love you kiddos.
