Some idea I got when Watching SG SG1 season 10 with some bitter truth in the end. I hope that the Stargate series won't come to an end and that the long promised SGA movie will be made eventually, knowing that SGU will end after the second season ...

Rush is the broken copy of Baltar.

They tried for the whole show to recreate BSG's dark atmosphere, failing miserably.

That isn't Stargate.

Also, they filled it with useless teen drama.

I don't want to know who fucks who, i want to see some science fiction for fuck's sake.

@TheStarTreker The show didn't fail(though I admit that Season 1 had some REALLY BAD episodes like the Darkness-Light two-parter in which nothing happened except that Rush went nuts and Destiny flew in a star REAL SLOW). Season 2 gradually became better and Universe was leading up to the STARGATE GRAND FINALE which was cancelled. Stargate Universe was my fav Stargate series.

Actually SG1 was the Golden Age of Stargate. First, it's the original and second, it had Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver) as Jack O'Neill, if it wasn't for him then I would probably never gotten into Stargate at all and finally, it's the best!

Sorry but I don't refer SGU as Stargate. That show failed. I gave up on it after half way through the first season. It was almost like a ripoff of the newer Battlestar Galactica which I find very dull. SG1 and Atlantis are only ones I refer as Stargate. The only two Stargate series that I found great and fun with some comedy. They were my substitute for Star Trek. SGU had none of that. Oh this was a parody/homage to Star Trek, my most beloved favorite sci-fi franchise.
