If anyone can please help me. Im trying to get into making some skate films but im on a budget right now. Does anybody know any really good HD video cameras that are less than $500 or is this too much to ask for? :/ Please reply!

Hi ThisIsAnnaA13 - I would suggest you look at the Canon Vixia HF S200 or the Vixia HF S100. Personally, I think these are the best in the Vixia line and a very good value for the money. Hope this helps.

like any camcorder you buy these days, you will need to buy an additional battery. check on amazon.com, a 6 hour battery cost 40 bucks.

yes Denosplace is right, the camera does have a video light lol and funny thing is this review video showed the light come on too!

You said that it doesn't have a video light, but it does. I watched the video review showing them useing tha video light and a flash that was to the left of the video light.
