Neil Oratz wrote this song and performs it here as his entry into the Bushman World Ukulele Video Contest 2008, wearing his Darryl Burriss jersey .
Neil learned to play the Ukulele just for this contest...the Ukulele was a school ukulele --yes the public schools here near the Great Swamp of Putnam County teach the Ukulele as a standard part of childrens education.
One of his sons had scratched some less than complimentary comments about the teacher on it.. and they made Neil buy it for Fifty Bucks.
So there it sat for a few years until I told him about the contest. The dust on it was 1/2 inch thick.
At first he tried to play it like a Hawaiin guitar, with a slide, because he knew it was something to do with Hawaii.....I thought I had broke him of the habit....but you will see him grab that slide at the end of the song, knowing I would not cut in front of the camera to dispossess him of it.

It actually does work well... better than that,, I filmed another video of him where he really does play slide ukelele... watch for it.
