  • and why the hell isnt soulja boy on that list..every song they played is old as hell

  • rap isnt an art anymore its all about marketing..not skill

  • agreed, i was like what the fuc,, they could of chose a diff. song.

  • Well Fox has done some good.

Now I've heard of Quelo, I think I'll try checkin' em out.

  • Chris Rock: "Well clearly, there's a bitch that he needs to get out of his way, thus the phrase 'Bitch, get out the way.'"

  • I love how they never bring (ignorant) female rappers on to be berated about their complicity in all this. Lil' Kim and Trina aren't really a rebuttal as to the worth of women in Hip Hop.

  • wow. i went to uic with that dude. he's still at it, that's good but i think he's gotta understand, we cant call them bitches & hoes no more. if we're going to get it right, misogyny has to go

  • I doubt how many people could be offended. If they dont like what they hear..and they are 'offended'...then they wont listen...big deal! People talk about hip hop and rap as if its what creates violence or 'dis-respect to women' but really rap just documents what already goes on.

Besides this is just music. I wonder how much the Christian right influences kids and the rest of the public..with the traditional sub-servient role of women in the Bible?

  • Shala was right about saying let's address the issues in America. Oprah tried to pull the same stunt with Common about two months ago, and he said the same thing about looking at society as a whole to uproot the way people look and judge each other and she tried to shut him up, as in the case with CNN and Shala. People, we as blacks especially need some mental, spiritual, and emotional reconstruction. The problem doesn't lie within rap!
