Thanks very much for posting this. I just finished watching all 9 chapters. I'd have loved to hear what Dave Brock had could have said about it all, but I'll respect his silence here as long as I can enjoy his music elsewhere. Which I do on a daily basis.

Thanks for the memories man, my favourite band.

When I first saw this, I was disappointed that Dave Brock refused to appear.

Such a shame Dave Brock didn`t appear and such a shame how it has all ended.Too much got damaged along the hawk journey.

Thanks for the posting. I was only going to watch a bit but ended up watching it all in order as it was so interesting. I've only seen Hawkwind once, at Brixton Academy for the get together because Lemmy and other members from the best era were there. Bumped into a 'party mate' I hadnt seen in many years, and I thought as i went up to London for the gig 'as its Hawkwind, i bet I see G here tonight' and, of course, I did.
Thanks again.

I saw Nik Turner's Hawkwind in Detroit in the early '90s. Maybe 40-50 people there. It was amazing!!! Sounded just like the Space Ritual LP! Did anyone else see them on that tour? What year was it? Who was in the band then?

1994, most likely. The band members weren't Hawkwind, it was folks like Paul Della Pella and Helios Creed.

Cheers folks. And I in turn must thank Joefish on the bit-torrent forum at purelivegigs dot com, because he's the guy who seeded the DVD from where these mpegs were taken.
Note: before you all dash off there, there's hardly ever any Hawkwind there. This one was allowed because it's the BBC's, not Dave Brock's.
