@pearpeas I think she should be a guest of honour to the London Olympics. Who else have competed in the Olympics 6 times in a row, and still be vying for a place for the 8th time? Merlene lost form at the final 15m and nearly lost to Gwen Torrence. She tended to lose form towards the end all the time and failed to dip subsequently, getting second or third most of the time. Remember how she lost the gold in 200m in 1996 to Perec while leading all the way?

who can forget Gail Devers who had Graves deseases and didnt run for two years and come back and win an olympic gold medal over ottey. drugs again but them drugs done now. Jamaica all the way now.... London ere we come

Ottey no matter what they say about you, i love u and jamaicans love u endlessly... u didnt take drugs like the famous americans. To name a few Gwen Torrence, Florence Grifftihs-joyner who the drug end up killing. wicked cant prosper.
