This was a simple demonstration project to demonstrate Foley sound to highschool students visiting on Hot Carreers Day.
We Recorded our own Foley effects the day before using a stereo RCA cable for the "whoosh" sound, two camera bags and a soda bottle for the thuds, and celery and carrots for the breaks and tears. during the end of our presentations we allowed willing participants to create there own sounds using our methods.
the equipment we used was an old Electro-Voice mic running into a Mackie mixer sending the signal straight to the PC's integrated sound card and used adobe Premiere to record and edit the sounds and video. A very simple but effective and intuitive setup for sound recording.
