@mike123456385 No problem Mike glad to help! :) It's a beast of a machine when you get it going, make sue you put the arms to one side if you are doing ground with stones and rocks in it as it will hurl them out the back! hi..
I've just bought on of these and was wondering if you know the correct color it should be,mine has been sat in a barn/shed for 25 years and I'm looking to restore it and show it..I'm already showing stationary engines and fancy something different..hope you can help..

@mike123456385 Hi Mike, I have asked my brother as to the colour: 35 years ago the only paint left on the machine was under the spark plug 'flap' cover, and the nearest colour that he could get was John Deere Green. It's not an exact match, but as near as makes no diffence. Red is Massey Ferguson red, blue reversing lever is Ford blue. If you want to know specific colours you could ask the Simar enthusiasts at the VHGMC.co.uk
