I've been trying stencil airbrushing. Dont like it to much. Almost cut my finger to the bone with a xacto knife. I think I like freehanding better and using the stencil technique only if I have to for detailing and fine lines. Anybody who thinks airbrushing is easy, think again. Work safe and have fun.

Why try to copy from a fotograph. when you can in hands it or edit it . Try to use Spray paint much faster than the airbrush.

i agree with growler he knows what hes talking about but in my personal preference I would start to thin your paints alot more and built your colors instead of going in hard with the black and comming out muddy go in with 500% over reduced or more and build the colors the face has no rel sharp lines in it so solid colors will make it look cartoonish. watch my freehand joker and see the colors build as i bring them out and nock them back XD good progress though!

@cantfindnameXD Yeh! Im working on trying to make my drawings look realistic instead of cartoon looking. I just started art school in 2008 and I was used to making a solid outline on all my drawings and paintings. Trying to break that habbit. I have another joker video Im going to post. I took in everybodies advice and tried it again. Thanks

i would really thin the paint down that your useing just use filtered water for super soft thin lines thin down some black to 700& to 1200% thats 1 drop paint to 7 water 1 one to 12 water just test it you will see it takes 2 or 3 passes to get a solid line it will also help you with brush controlle because so passes will need to be done 2 or 3 times it will help you get your accuracy up and it will make your lines much much softer. do a demo and try it out.
