American 757 takeoff St. Martin

St. Martin airport has a beach just 20 feet from the edge of the main runway. There are signs telling people you can be killed by being to close to a airplane taking off. I was sure I was smarter than that since I am a pilot and actually flew a 757 into the island. I was standing slightly upwind of the port engine when this AA 757 started it's takeoff. It was actually hilarious, you can see in the video as I get blown right off my feet. Nobody was hurt filming this video.

Not that easy since it is very popular place and i'm sure somebody would either report suspicious behaviour or stop it. There is a bar on one side and very busy hotel on the other side of this very spot. My final comment, what would the other option be? You can have freedom, or you can security, but you absolutely can't have both!

I was responding to Giveusabrakes comment about a muslim earning 72 virgins. If you were referring to reference of muslims, other than Ok city, who else is slaughtering innocents around the world. Don't know where you live but the idea that you are free to do as you please and secure at the same time from these fanatical idiots is nonsense. The more security you demand, expect or have pushed down your throat by government to be safe from the "boogieman", the more freedom you relinquish.

ive only flown on an a320(JFK-MCO), 757(JFK-CCS), DC-9(DTW-GRR)and an a319(DTW-JFK). out of all of the planes i love the 757. I flew on american airlines for JFK-CCS. The flight was amazing. i didnt feel a thing when we entered the clouds. on the way back the take off was turbulent (as always) but smooth ride man. i love boeing

hmmmm.....757 is a great airplane, but to me is a little uggly, 737, 747, 787, 727, A350, A380, beautiful airplanes.
