One of the most amazing things I've ever seen from art and culture. First performance in the U.S. @ the Detroit Festival of the Arts on the campus of Wayne State University by the Netherlands-based Close-Act Visual Theatre. Formed in 1991, Close-Act has grown into a professional community of actors, musicians, stilt-walkers, dancers, fire-throwers and acrobats. Soon to be the talk of the Festival, Close-Act will be performing Sau'rus, a mobile act featuring gigantic prehistoric creatures, but with considerably higher intelligence then the real dinosaurs they are modeled after. These colossal characters incorporate sound, rhythm and humor in their quest to find food as they move throughout the Festival site.
