This is my first ever flight on a C17, only the baddest Cargo plane invented (so far). This was a scheduled training flight that we were allowed to tag along on. First, we started with a cargo drop at home base, took off and flew to North Field to de-board and observe our C17 in Training in touch-n-go's, and an assault/combat landing. Then we flew to rendezvous with a refueling tanker (KC135) and finally back to home base. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did. Thanks for watching! And a special HUGE thank you to the men and women of the Charleston Air Force Base for their tremendous hospitality and kindness. You all ROCK!!

  • Hey so how was the flight?Did you still get to do it?

  • Dover AFB

  • Nice-if you get in the cockpit and film, do better than I did at capturing pilot activities. I always critique other people's cockpit footage and then when I get MY chance, my brain went on overload and I still missed a lot. haha

  • @aviatormxpilot Also check out this website w-w-w flightchief . com / A - 10 _ Thunderbolt _ II . html

  • @snipingace34 As a crew chief in the USAF I've worked on this and many other fighter jets including the f-16, the f-15 and the F-4G. With all due respect I submit for your review the following... The A-10's official name comes from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt of World War II, a fighter that was particularly effective at close air support. The A-10 is more commonly known by its nickname "Warthog" or simply "Hog". Please google the prase "original nickname for the a-10".

  • @aviatormxpilot hmhm dont you mean tank busters?

  • I used to HATE these "VIP" things when I was on submarines. We'd bring the ignorant civilians onboard and take them out for a day. They'd quickly get bored and I was SO glad none of them belonged to me. The guys who did have relatives onboard mostly lived to regret it. We'd end up having to turn out the lights on the mess deck and put a movie on just to keep them occupied. MAJOR league pain in the ass.

  • I build this bad ass airlifter. btw the A-10 Warthog is also known as The Tank Killer.

Cheers. From a 25 year employee of McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Co in Long Beach Ca.

  • Ah, the C-17....the princess of AMC and the whole airlift world.......C-130's all the way...down and dirty and actually getting shit DONE!
