Note: Quality can be set to "high", and the video will still play in high quality or HD on YouTube. For HD, you may also render at 1920x1080 resolution for even greater quality (at a larger file size).

This is a tutorial for iMovie '09, I've never used any other version, but it should be the same settings and everything. Hope this helps =)

  • after save what i need to do ? wtf vid is this ?

  • @pangpang38 After you save... it saves as a movie file. I don't know what you're confused about.

  • What's the difference between High Quality and High Def?

  • @SummonedSong It wasn't the technically correct term; it was more like standard def. However, I was using High Quality as 4:3 ratio, and High Def as 16:9 ratio. Either way, I showed you how to export in the highest quality possible.

  • HELP!!! How do you save your videos for Highest quality for viewing on a HD tv? Help please!!!!

  • @chriscovington 1920x1080 is the resolution for what is normally labelled as a "1080p" DHTV. 1280x720 is the resolution for a 720p HDTV. Either resolution should work fine.
