I vastly prefer Snake, Campbell, Liquid and Meryl's english voices.

Hard to say, if Engish voice acting has its advantage. After all this video game's character are all either American or Russian, so yeah, English voice acting will be more realistic, but Japanese voice acting has its own advantage. In my opinion, Japanese voice act gave me a feeling of better fitness with the character. But I will not play Jap ver MGS because I will not understand the story at all.

Are the Patriots the fictional version of the illuminati? Is liquid apart of it. Isn't he an American agent? I think Hideo Kojima is trying to warn us.

to be honest i like liquids eng dub. though that dosnt change that the jap is WAY better and that not to play a game in the original language (as long as their is subs) is plain stupid!

The english dubbing is not that bad, at least Vamp's english voice actor is fantastic although Raiden's english voice actor is really a piece of shit.

Vamp's Japanese voice in MGS4 seems disappointed, while Ryotaro Okiayu made an impressive performance in MGS2.
