Tolstoy's epic work untying the knots of the tapestry thats human life, exploring it, celebrating it, even dreading and shunning it... Human condition in all its hues!
The definitive version of the book in media form. Forget the films, forget the other, more recent TV version in 2000. This 1977 version is THE best of all. This is one of many great scenes.

and Levin is definitely my favourite character
