This is a one of a kind special ordered Road Runner. It is a two owner car until now. This is a Los Angeles plant built car. It was completely gone thru with no miles. It was in San Diego Ca. and was parked in 1976. It has 48,000 original miles. It is the rare A4 Silver with Black Vinyl top and Interior and Blacked Out Hood Treatment. It was ordered with the premium bucket seat and floor console interior. This beautiful Road Runner has the matching numbers engine and transmission. No expense was spared to make this car truly better than when it was new. You will not find a better Example of this car. The underside is so clean and original with all the original Rear end markings and stencil painted marks. The original paint on the floor pans is in exec. Cond. You can see where they stopped painting the rear end and floors. There is no surface rust anywhere on this car. The trunk is the original. The interior sports the original door panels and seat covers. The original carpeting. The gauges are all original. The engine was done by The late Great Ramcharger Engine builder and racer Dean Nicopolis. It has a few of his tricks done to it and a custom grind camshaft that idles smooth with a little more power. The heads have a little porting in the bowls and are gasket matched ports. It has a Stock AVS carb. The trans was done by famous Joels on Joy in Detroit, Mich. It is stock with a few of his tricks also. Shifts real nice and kicks in hard when you get on it. It has the original point Distributor that has been Curved on a Sun machine. All new brakes and front end. This car came with a 3:23 Open rear. The body and paint are real straight and real nice. Not just average real nice. All new tinted glass and correct grain vinyl top. The bumpers and all stainless trim are the originals from the car. The bumpers were rechromed by Hajjar Plating of Romulus, Mich. The stainless was polished by McNichols Polishing of Redford,Mi. NOS Rear taillight housings and door handles. Nos Exhaust tips from 1984. The good ones. New Grille and headlight bezels. All new rubber seals. This car has the original spare and jack assy. All new engine compartment wiring harnesses. This car has manual brakes with power steering. This car is real tight and nice. It runs better than when it was new. It will be featured in an upcoming issue of Mopar Collectors Guide. Rob Wolf the Main Editor and founder was real impressed with this car when he did the photo shoot. He could not get over how original and clean the underside is and how nice overall the car is. The engine is very crisp and responsive. The car originally had 14" Steel wheels with full hubcaps. It needed some flash from that era. American Racing Torq Thrust TTO's in 15" were used with BF Goodrich Radial T/A 255 60 15 on the rear black wall out. The fronts are 225 70 15. All new custom exhaust with Dynamax Super Turbo II's. Sounds better than some Hemi Cars I know. This is the first time this car has been offered for sale on here. It has not been driven for any length of time. Just break in period and after the front end alignment it was driven maybe 4 miles to make sure trans and everything is right. It has a tank of Cam II 118 Racing gas for break in. Brad Pen Oil was used also. The paint is the correct A4 with the correct tint. Most cars are done this color and are too bright of a silver. This one is dead on and bad to the bone. The paint and body was done By Brad Rutkowski of Brighton, Mich. He has done a lot of Top Show cars and Prototype cars for the big 3. I hope whoever wins this car realizes how rare and beautiful this car is and will be fun to drive and show finally after sitting since 1976.
