那瑪夏鄉的達卡努瓦部落是楠梓仙溪最上游的部落，也是全台灣最偏遠深山的部落之一，離開高速公路後還要再開車二到三小時，通過大 段河床石頭路，越過很容易被沖毀的便橋，才能到達。這裡是阿布娪．卡斐阿那的故鄉，她十歲前，達卡努瓦是沒有電的，阿布娪說，小 時候她沒法想像什麼是電，簡樸生活中似乎也不需要多餘的東西。

阿布娪心中有很多希望：希望災後重建可以加快腳步；希望聯外道路和橋梁能夠穩固安全；希望Kanakanavu趕快復原自己的文 化樣貌、成為獨立的一族；希望部落婦女能擺脫父權壓制、獨立自主；希望族人起來爭取尊嚴和權益......。阿布娪的每一個希望 ，前方都有重重困難，但阿布娪仍不放棄希望，她總是盡量去做，一點一點累積。雖然前方的希望很微弱，阿布娪總是引領著夥伴們，一 起慢慢地向微光前進。從不放棄的阿布娪散發出來的光與熱，也照亮了許多她身邊的族人。

達卡努瓦的Pi'i說

今年是很多我們的長者
This year, many elders came and
都自願來這邊幫忙搭鳥網
volunteered to cast anti-bird netting
各家族輪流顧小米
Every clan took turns in tending to the millets
所以小鳥 還不太敢進來
so the birds were kept away

明年可能就是要用那種
It'll be different next year
各家族自己去播種一小塊
Each clan will work on their land
自己家族的小米
sowing seeds of millets
如果說你這邊這家族要播種
If one clan is sowing seeds
我們其他家族可以一起過來幫忙
then other clans will help out
就是像換工一樣
It's like changing work shifts

最大的改變就是人
People have changed a lot
然說 都各奔東西
Although we went our own ways
可是心裡還是在
our hearts are still here
自己部落的這一塊地
This piece of land in the tribe
感覺 好像凝聚力越來越好
makes us more united
不像風災前
But before the typhoon struck
要邀很困難
it was difficult to get help
現在你要邀族人的話 好像
Now, if you ask them for help
都有心 很樂意
they are helpful
要一起做
and willing to work together
