  • It could be 15/8 with one bar of 4/4 and one bar 7/8. Dave Liebman has composed a tune in the same time signature called "New Mambo".

  • You might see it on a chart as 15/16 as well.

  • @gjbsaxman94 nah man it's a two bar phrase-4 and 7/8. you're counting it as if the 8th note was the quarter note. I suppose you could count it like that, but this is a common jazz format.
