Laser is from http://www.dragonlasers.com

This video from Steveastrostar demonstrates the power of the Hulk 200mW portable green laser.

Lots of balloon popping, match burning and cool beam shots.

  • can u turn on a cigarette with that!!???

  • @jarka9991 yes you can

  • Laser pointer goggles are worse for your eyes than having no goggles at all : the goggles make everything seem darker therefore your pupils open up wider to let more light in just think if you have goggles on and if you have the laser beam reflected into your eye you are going to seriously injure your cornia with the amount of laser radiation being absorbed into your eyes.Wearing no goggles will let more light into your eyes therefore making your pupils small so less radaition is absorbed. :D

  • @BEZIK2K9 An interesting idea but wrong.

Laser safety goggles work by reducing the power of a beam to a level where it is harmless. The dilation of your pupil is irrelvant.

  • For every1 asking what lasers are good for; u could use them to test refractive indices. You could demonstrate rayleigh scattering. You could make an interferometer. You cold demonstrate polarization twisting in solutions of asymetric molecules. You could test brewster angles.

5mw will cut it for all of those. But for highpower lasers:

Make guide stars for adaptive optics telescopes. Engrave things.

But apearantly the only thing this one does that 5mw doesnt is light matches and pop ballons.

  • @antalz Don't forget higher power gives longer range and greater visiblity. Essential for applications such as astronomy, alignmnet, use in daytime conditions, scaring birds and defense

  • This is a "mundane" video. =p

  • yup id go around poping kids balloons and laffing.

  • @BEZIK2K9 Your thinking of using sunglasses for protection, Your pupil could be as big as a porn stars pussy and it wouldn't make any difference with proper protection. The fact is that the amount of light being transmitted through them is reduced and therefore the same amount of harmless light is gonna reach your eye no matter what.

  • Thats cool, I always use my 150mW when going out at night. And it's not dangerous if a reflection hits your eyes in a minisecond, but if you aim the laser directly into eyes, or stare at a reflaction that hits your eyes a few seconds, your eyes will get hurt

  • AWASOME!

  • i bet you could light someones pants with that! lol

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • at 0:17 you had much luck...

  • the modern lightsaber lol

  • @dragonlasersfanman Even if it's a little late I'd like to add: If your eye get ever hit for a fraction of a second it will get blind, no matter if your pupils are opened wide or not. The savety goggles I have are rated OD3 at 532nm. That means 1/1000 of the light which goes in can travel through. That means 200mW gets reduced to 0.2mW. This gives you time enough for closing your eye. If you don't try to avoid the beam the material will melt and then you'll get problems.
