Engine 315 inservice at Station 340 (a.k.a. Station 4) for Engine 314 in the City of Altoona. 315 is a spare engine normally kept at Station 330 (a.k.a. Station 3). 315 is a 1981 MACK pumper. Was replaced in November 2007 after a new engine was purchased (new engine currently 311).

Engine 315 (at the time was 312) carried Captain Robert Gallardy from the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona to New Germany where he was burried.

  • nice i see thta yall hav that qrs certified here in franklin county i used to belong to a station that had an engine tanker that was qrs engine tanker 14 ever hear of it its well known

  • yes, the City of Altoona Fire Department is QRS certified and runs some medical calls with the local Medic Services (AMED).

  • ah, our first out is an 80' mack. closed 4 man cab, double axle though. It was actually a converted garbage truck chassis
