No book will ever replace Harry Potter, especially Twilight!
Twilight is nothing special! Harry Potter is unique, and will live 4 ever!! It's an insult to compare a book like Twilight to the most successful book/movie series of all time!

PLOT OF STORIES AND IDEAS ARE TOTALY DIFFFERENT!!!! JUST STOP IT¨!!! YOU CAN'T COMPARE WIZARDS WITH VAMPIRES!!!! FOR GOD SAKE, PEOPLE!! Plus I love them both. Twilight is my book in teenage years, Harry Potter was my book in childhood years. They're both great. What's wrong with that?? Have a nice Easter everybody.!

Okay, I don't see how the two are comparable. J.K. Rowling's books are complex, and they draw you in. I liked Twilight for a few months, but I didn't find the plot complicated at all. Boy and girl meet. They fall in love. Girl nearly gets killed a few times, boy comes to save her. Then they get married, have sex, and have a baby. SMeyer prepares for this HIUUUGE fight...and it never happens. HP is the exact opposite. But this is just my opinion.

I dislike Harry Potter. But I understand why it became so successful. It deserved all the fame and credit it got.
Twilight's been out for 5 years and popular for 3. I'm still stumped over how it's getting this much credit.

Why do interviewers keep bringing up HP with this? Like what does this have to do with another author's books? They always have to create this faux competition between people instead of just letting this particular author have her own success. It's like how the media compares Megan Fox to Angelina Jolie & creates this sort of competition when there's room for BOTH actresses to keep working. Everybody always has to be compared to somebody else.

how the hell does she mirror jk rowling? smeyer had a dream and wrote crap while jo brought her self out of welfare and wrote a great books that is well developed
