Stick shift ,it was on a 45 and an album .

The 'ticking' sound is the switch on the mech that provides the memory read pulse. This is normal. No tick, no selections. This machine uses core memory. The selector is DIGITAL.

These were such huge monsters. First to have the tormat that had it's share of bugs in it. They had great sound though. Powerhouses!
