In war, there are no unwounded soldiers

If people would just demand that war be an absolute last plan of action, to be used after, and only after, all peaceful attempts have failed, this world would see far less bloodshed and fewer birthdays missed and more New Years spent together with loved ones and more summer fishing trips.

  • That colonel is an asshole.

He seems not to understand what is going on

  • Yes, and can bark orders with great fervor when he's behind the lines. Arm chair warriors with no love for the men they command!

  • @fingerniklas by the way he is not Col. :) he was a Lt.Col. if that would have been an Col. I think he would have been at least..at the age of 50 - 55..or 60. :)

  • @Vietcong01 also rangers and 82nd airbourne all said hurtgen ws far worse then d day or any other event

  • @Vietcong01 dude you know that a german officer that was at hurtgen claimed it was even worse then russia... hurtgen forrest and stalingrad were the two bloodiest of battles

  • @fingerniklas not even generals knew what was going on at hrutgen they send their regiments ehad on germans defenses they shoulda used guerilla tactics

  • @fingerniklas Patton would have bitch-slapped that colonel and promptly relieved him of command

  • @1998disco72 Exactly!!

  • The captain with the pipe who here did not want to punch him in the head? What a dick.

  • @gjohnsoningary That is why he probably lost so many men, incompetence!

  • @Soupa000 He's a lieutenant colonel. They have silver oak leafs whereas majors have gold oak leafs as ensignia.

  • @marinesnip Usually in a situation like this. You don't need the promote the guy, if there's no one else to take his place, that's what I'm saying.
