@JediAtlantis Actually, that's technically not the Galaxy refit. The refit was the DS9 Dominion War version. What you saw here was the Galaxy Dreadnaught (??spelling??) version, the one only seen in the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation in the future part.

So much for The USS Arcadia which got owned by The M-5 - Enterprise Alpha

Considering that the damage didn't extend to where the warp core was, anti-matter containment most likely wasn't breached. An emergency shutdown of the core could have happened, followed by the ejection of the matter and anti-matter containment pods. (Unlikely as the nacelles are still glowing, meaning energy is still being produce and the ship SHOULD have imploded). All speculation from reading to many ST manuals.

Um where does this come from? Is it some kinda Star Trek Game or Simulator or are you Building the ships on some kinda engine buildie spiffy neato movies on?

This is one Star Trek series where I was glad to see the Enterprise A was destroyed.

Get a Cardassian Dreadnought and go for collision course!
-
at 1:28 you can see a nacelle being shot off, but a few seconds later the ship is one piece again. restart much?
-
Yeh I dont think that would really happen. The power from the matter & anti-mater pods would vaporize the entire ship.

@CorporalDeath67 I wanna know how it survived having the entire drive section blasted off of it, and practically a third of the saucer section, too! That was unreal!
-
@UptheDonsTV That was exactly my thought!
Personally - I'd ram the ship.....
Get everyone off.... in shuttles.... etc etc... fire everything we've got WHILE gain speed to ram.

That is a cool 24th century Constitution Class refit.
