@beanchao Normally manually set the recording level and if needed, enable peak reduction. I then do a bit of post processing using Audacity to reduce the bass and the highs as most of my live recordings suffer from the cymbals cutting right through. Found the Tascam does better than the Zoom H2 for loud recordings.
