I remember all those town financial meltdowns during 1990. I was a freshman in high school and we were all being scared to death as to what was going to happen to us.

Todd Gross had been on WWLP (channel 22,) he started working there about a month before I moved from Turners Falls back to Marlborough as a stop-over to my then-new job in New Bedford.

I've seen him on one of the Springfield TV stations... former 'BZ meteorologist Ed Carroll has also returned to Spfld (he was on WGGB before going to 'BZ).

I actually ran into him in a CVS in Sudbury, so he's definitely in the area. From what I understand, he still does forecasting on his personal website and for a couple local radio stations, such as WCRN 830 in Worcester.
